In the UK what are the laws the effect the 'spamming' of online forums (no viruses or hacking involved) Would it perhaps become illegal if the 'spamming' took place in an organised manner or would it be illegal based on the intent; intent to prevent the forum being accessible or to 'bring down' the website for example? Also would a website designed to organise 'spammers' and target specific forums be illegal; even if the reasoning behind such a website was a good cause (say it was done to a website that stole things from other sites). If it is illegal then what kind of punishment would the website creator be likely to suffer?
